As we reported earlier today here on eWn, Kenny Omega is dealing with many injuries and he is not expected to return anytime soon.
Fightful Select has confirmed the Wrestling Observer Newsletter report about his sports hernia surgery and added that Omega was also looking to get rid of some sinus issues plus a problem with a shoulder for which he would like to avoid surgery. Around the AEW Revolution pay-per-view event, an AEW star noted that the fact Omega had been working with so many injuries was “unreal”.
The report added that Omega continues to be busy with his work as AEW Executive Vice President. Omega is very involved with the AEW video game and apparently he is the one who told Brian Cage that AEW would exercise the option on his contract. Omega has been praised for his work as EVP.
