Murphy took to Twitter on Monday night, teasing that he may be getting his first name back. In all of his recent tweets, he’s using his old name of “Buddy Murphy” again.
For what it’s worth, WWE.com is still listing his name as simply “Murphy” on their roster page.
Of course, Mustafa Ali lost his first name in 2019 but he’s got it back now so Murphy wouldn’t be the only one to regain his first name in 2020.
