Mustafa Ali is still under contract with WWE despite him publicly asking for his release from the company.
As previously reported, WWE has no plans to let him out of his deal as he does have a few years left on his contract but hasn’t been used on television in over two months.
Ali took to Twitter this morning and indicated that he may have been asked by WWE if he wanted to be in the Men’s Royal Rumble match while also noting that he still wants out.
Ali wrote, “no, i would not like to be in rumble. i would like my release.”
