On last night’s episode of NWA Powerrr, the NWA World Women’s Tag Team Championships changed hands twice in a series of dramatic events. This follows the titles changing hands less than two weeks ago at NWA ‘Nuff Said.’
Going back to NWA ‘Nuff Said’ on February 11th, the Renegade Twins (Charlette and Robyn Renegade) defeated Pretty Empowered (Ella Envy and Kenzie Paige) to win the titles. It is important to note that the faction also comprises of Roxy.
On last night’s episode of NWA Powerrr, the Pretty Empowered faction regained the titles as Ella Envy and Roxy, going by Pretty Empowered 2.0, defeated Charlette and Robyn Renegade. However, their moment of glory was short-lived, as Madi and Missa Kate arrived on the scene with a referee, cashing in their title shot as members of the team that won the ‘champions series.’ Madi and Missa Kate then defeated Pretty Empowered 2.0 in an impromptu match and became the new NWA World Women’s Tag Team Champions.
The series of events on this episode of NWA Powerrr has caused a major shift in the women’s tag team division of the NWA, and it will be interesting to see how the story develops from here.
