As noted, Andrade El Idolo was sent home before the October 5th edition of AEW Dynamite after a backstage altercation with Sammy Guevara. Not only have the two gone at it online, but Andrade recently has made several indications that he wants to leave AEW. The superstar himself has stated that his run with the company has been “difficult.”
During the latest Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted that Andrade might’ve purposely been acting out and trying to get himself released from the company. It’s been reported that the company is currently trying not to release anyone. Several AEW talents are unsatisfied with their position within the company and may be looking to leave.
It should also be noted that many reports suggested Malakai Black was on his way out of the company, but he has since confirmed he’ll be back soon.
