WWE TLC takes place on December 20, 2020 at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Florida.
WWE has already confirmed on TV that WWE Champion Drew McIntyre will defend against the winner of a triple threat on Monday’s episode of Raw at the TLC PPV event. That match will feature Matt Riddle vs. Keith Lee vs. AJ Styles.
According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE still had Braun Strowman vs. McIntyre listed as of this past Monday.
The “story going around” was that Strowman was injured at Survivor Series and written off with the suspension angle, but he was not on the internal injury list. This is why WWE had Strowman attack Adam Pearce.
The story was that he had a knee injury and was at the gym getting it worked on.
It was noted that if Strowman can go then he’ll be added to the title match. If not then he won’t work TLC and it will be Styles, Riddle or Lee against McIntyre.
