WWE recently announced its return to Australia on February 24th for the Elimination Chamber: Perth pay-per-view event at Optus Stadium.
While speaking with 7News Adelaide, Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley was featured as the main attraction for the event. Haus of Wrestling noted that despite speculation that this would mean she would headline the show, that’s not locked in as the event is still months away.
Ripley vs. Nia Jax vs. Shayna Baszler vs. Zoey Stark vs. Raquel Rodriguez for the Women’s World Title will be taking place at WWE Crown Jewel 2023.
In regard to speculation this means Rhea Ripley will main event the WWE Australia PLE next year, a WWE source tells Haus of Wrestling, “Rhea Ripley will be on the show, and creative will dictate the match and match position.”
