According to a report from Fightful, NWA’s Nick Aldis decided to take a pay cut during the pandemic to help the company when it was struggling financially.
For those unaware, the National Wrestling Alliance had a lot of roster turnover during the pandemic, and many of their talents’ contracts were expiring. Only a few names, such as Kylie Rae, returned to the company.
The report adds that AEW made Aldis an offer, but the NWA star turned it down.
