According to reports, the ticket sales for NJPW’s G1 Special event in San Francisco, California at the Cow Palace have been underwhelming. The event is set for July 7th.
As of this writing (Friday, May 4th), only about 3,000 tickets were sold on the first day of sales. The Cow Palace has a capacity of around 10,000 people. NJPW is blaming the low ticket sales due to them not announcing any lineup or talent who will be appearing at the show.
NJPW’s last show in the United States, Strong Style Evolved, drew an almost immediate sellout at a 4,700 arena (The Walter Pyramid).
