Another chapter of NJPW on AXS TV is coming to a close.
On the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer reported that NJPW on AXS TV has concluded, as New Japan’s contract with AXS TV has lapsed.
NJPW claims to have made the decision to part ways with AXS TV. With the latest contract expiring, NJPW ultimately opted not to extend its deal with AXS.
Furthermore, NJPW wanted to explore options for placing its programming on a more suitable network.
NJPW returned to AXS TV with fresh weekly episodes in March 2022. NJPW previously aired its weekly program on AXS TV from 2015 until 2019.
