During today’s NJPW G1 Climax 34 Night 17 event, Zack Sabre Jr. emerged victorious over Shingo Takagi in the A Block semifinals of the tournament.
In the finals of this year’s tournament, Sabre will face Yota Tsuji, who previously defeated Jeff Cobb in the B Block semifinals.
The finals will take place tomorrow (August 18) at the Ryōgoku Sumo Hall in Tokyo, Japan, and will be streamed live on NJPW World.

After finishing up in the G1 Climax 34 tournament, AEW wrestler Konosuke Takeshita expressed interest in the possibility of returning to NJPW in the future.
Takeshita also mentioned the potential of returning alongside the Don Callis Family.
Takeshita stated, “Honestly, after being welcomed with such warm support, I might come back again. I might come back again…At that time, maybe UNITED EMPIRE? CHAOS? New Japan with the Don Callis family… Let me think about it a bit more.”
During today’s NJPW G1 Climax 34 Night 17 event, Takeshita teamed up with Callum Newman and Jeff Cobb to defeat the team of Jado, El Phantasmo, and Shota Umino.
