MLW and NJPW have announced that Fantasticamania 2024 will host an MLW World Tag Team Championship bout.
Major League Wrestling sent out the following press release today to officially announce the news:
NJPW to host MLW World Tag Team Title Match
On July 13, the lucha libre festival that is Fantasticamania comes to the USA for the very first time as Fantasticamania 2024 comes to San Jose, CA.
For the first time ever New Japan Pro-Wrestling will host an MLW World Tag Team Championship bout.
CozyMAX (Satoshi Kojima and Okumura) will defend the MLW World Tag Team Championship against CMLL’s Magnus and Rugido.
Kojima has enjoyed incredible success in MLW in 2024, becoming double MLW World Heavyweight and Tag team Champion.
With Magnus having been part of the Japanese Fantasticamania this year and he and partner Rugido looking for international success though, CozyMAX will not have an easy night in San Jose.
