Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling has announced its production team, which includes individuals who previously worked for AEW and WWE.
Timothy J. Walbert will be in charge of directing the upcoming Forged in Excellence event. Walbert was associated with WWE for eight years and AEW from 2019 to 2023. He has previously directed events such as WrestleMania.
Kevin M. Sullivan will manage onscreen branding and promotion. Sullivan has worked for WWE, AEW, and TNA in the past.
Lastly, Keith Mitchell is also part of the production team. Mitchell has worked for WCW, AEW, and TNA and retired from AEW in December 2021.
In other news, New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) has announced that Yuya Uemura will be sidelined for six months due to a torn triceps.
Uemura’s most recent match was on August 10 in the G1 Climax 34 tournament, where he faced Yota Tsuji.
