Over the past few weeks, Eddie Kingston has been busy in New Japan Pro Wrestling competing in the annual G1 Climax. Having also recently won the NJPW Strong Openweight Championship, Kingston seems to be living his dream to the fullest, and this attracted the attention of his longtime friend; well, at least until recently, Ortiz.
Taking to Twitter/X, Ortiz commented on a clip in which Kingston is seen wrestling Bullet Club leader David Finlay. Ortiz wrote,
“Eddie and I might not be on talking terms right now. But putting our differences aside. Seeing him do his thing brings me so much joy!”

While Kingston and Ortiz’s differences are very much a work, there have been some serious real-life issues between Ortiz and Santana over the past year, with Santana having been out of action due to injury. However, recent developments do indicate that the longtime tag team partners may have reconciled and that Proud ‘N’ Powerful could be on the verge of returning to AEW.
