Pat McAfee is elated to have been a part of The Rock’s return to WWE on this week’s episode of SmackDown.
McAfee was present for the Great One’s return, and both he and The Rock would lay out Austin Theory with a pair of ‘People’s Elbows.’
Speaking after the segment, McAfee reflected on this and other highlights from his time with WWE. He said,
“It’s so stupid. I got Stunned by Stone Cold at WrestleMania in Texas. Then I got to drink some Steve-weisers with him afterwards. I just got to do a People’s Elbow with The Rock.
“I’m living, not only my dream, but I know pretty much every kid that grew up in my generation’s dream, so I hope I’m doing you guys proud. I’m trying to enjoy it, and I am beyond thankful for it all.”
Earlier in the day, The Rock appeared on McAfee’s show and said he was “open” to a match at WrestleMania 40 against his cousin Roman Reigns.
