The NWA has unveiled its brand-new United States Tag Team Championship titles.
The NWA, once a governing body, has operated as a singular promotion since 2017 when it was acquired by Smashing Pumpkins star Billy Corgan.
During the most recent episode of NWA USA, Corgan revealed the titles, saying the designs take inspiration from the previous NWA/WCW U.S. Tag Team Titles.
The new titles have a red strap and gold plates, similar to the gold held by the likes of the Midnight Express, the Fabulous Freebirds, and the Steiner Brothers.
The Fixers (Jay Bradley and Wrecking Ball) won the NWA U.S. Tag Titles at NWA 74 in August this year, but team member Wrecking Ball refused to accept the new championship design.
Corgan said he must accept the title if he wants to keep working for the NWA, but Wrecking Ball still refused.
On #NWAUSA @Billy tried to present Wrecking Ball Legursky with a gorgeous new NWA United States Tag Title belt, but Wrecking Ball declined. Wrecking Ball prefers his own NWA US Tag Title for its charm and (self-made) nameplate. What will happen next?! @NWA pic.twitter.com/dKlFdUkUB7

At the time of their title win in August, Corgan made it clear that the championships they held were temporary designs.
The original NWA/WCW U.S. Tag Team Titles were used from September 1986 to July 1992 with Dick Slater and The Barbarian as the final champions.
