Here are some quick rumors and news going around WWE today:
Flo Rida, who’s hometown is Miami where Raw takes place in just under an hour will be in attendance. This is not the first time Flo Rida has been involved with WWE and has provided one of this years Wrestlemania theme songs “My House” available on Spotify and iTunes.
WWE stock, post-Rumble today was up 3.29%. It closed out the day at $17.29 per share and had a low point today of $16.57 and high point of $17.66 per share.
Aside from The Rock, The Undertaker has also been speculated to appear on tonight’s post-Rumble Raw. We will find out here shortly if the rumors are true for either superstar–ewrestlingnews.com will of course keep you updated on what transpires. On a side note former WWE Diva Kaitlyn is backstage tonight and WWE posted a clip of her, Big E and Dolph Ziggler hyping tonight’s surprise return. Certainly the surprise wont be?…well I’ll wait until I see it before I type it, but we all know who those three had a connection with. Also, Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman are apparently not going to be on tonight’s Raw so it will also be interesting to see how the Wyatt’s will be used tonight.
TNA tag team The Wolves, Richards and Edwards have been locked into new TNA deals and will not be going anywhere at least for the time being
Byron Saxton made his wrestling debut 13 years ago in Orlando, Florida and last night provided color commentary for the Royal Rumble in–Orlando, Florida. Saxton ended a tweet earlier today with the expression “God is good.”
Wrestling Fact of the Day: Mauro Ranallo started his pro wrestling announcing career when he was 16 years old in Vancouver, BC for the All-Star Wrestling promotion. He also called Becky Lynch and Natalya matches prior to his WWE debut. A show on the Fight Network in Canada called SuperGirls, a division of Elite Canadian Championship Wrestling (Extreme Canadian Championship Wrestling at the time), featured Mauro Ranallo doing play-by-play for Rebecca Knox and Nattie Neidhart matches. Knox is of course the previously used ring name of Lynch and Neidhart being the obvious connection.
I can’t wait for the Rumble fallout on Raw–hopefully you enjoy it to!
