Per the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, AEW Collision’s premiere episode debuted at #3 for cable, drawing 816,000 viewers and an 0.33 rating in the key 18-49 demographic.
AEW Collision ranked #2 in its timeslot among viewers aged 18-34, trailing behind the College World Series game on ESPN. It also outperformed network TV programming, including FOX Saturday Night Baseball. In terms of demographic breakdown, Collision tied with UFC as the #3 program in women 18-49 and held the #3 spot in men 18-49, 18-34, and women 12-34. The majority of the audience (72%) in the 18-49 age range was male.
Meanwhile, this week’s AEW Dynamite saw an increase in both viewership and ratings compared to the previous week, attracting 902,000 viewers and an 0.33 rating.
AEW Dynamite garnered an 0.24 rating in the 18-34 demographic and was the #2 cable program of the night. It achieved its highest 18-49 rating since February 22. Compared to the previous week, Dynamite saw an 8.4% increase in viewership, an 11.2% increase in 18-49 ratings, and a 4% decrease in 18-34 ratings. Year-over-year, it recorded increases in viewership and key demographics.
