AJ Styles will be out of the ring for “months” after suffering a broken ankle during a recent WWE live event.
The two-time former WWE Champion suffered the injury during a six-person tag team match pitting the O.C. against the Judgment Day at the event in Hershey, PA.
Styles took to Twitter to inform fans that he has suffered a broken ankle but that it will not require surgery.
A source within WWE told Fightful Select that it was learned backstage that Styles will be out for “months” prior to his tweet.
Styles’ most recent televised match came on the December 19, 2022 edition of RAW, where he lost to Sami Zayn.
