As reported earlier here on eWrestlingNews.com, Jake “The Snake” Roberts was involved in an altercation with former WWE Superstar Davey Boy Smith Jr. (DH Smith) in New Orleans, LA at the WrestleCon event. There were reports that Jake Roberts had dropped the charges he originally filed against him.
According to the New Orleans, LA police department, Davey Boy Smith Jr. is still wanted for assault by them. Pro Wrestling Sheet spoke with a representative for the New Orleans PD and they said the following:
“Since this is a municipal charge, the victim can withdraw all charges by going through the city attorney’s office once the perpetrator has been located and either arrested or issued a summons. As far as we are aware, Smith is still wanted at this time.”
Smith reportedly threw coffee in Roberts’ face after getting into an argument during the WrestleCon convention.
