Goldberg made a surprise appearance at WWE Bad Blood 2024 and confronted WWE World Heavyweight Champion GUNTHER.
GUNTHER insulted Goldberg multiple times while the former champion was in the audience, which led to Goldberg jumping the rail. The security personnel intervened to prevent any physical altercation.
During the post-show press conference, Paul “Triple H” Levesque mentioned the possibility of another Goldberg match, saying, “Never say never.”
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that WWE has no immediate plans for a match between GUNTHER and Goldberg.
In fact, the dream match cannot take place at WWE Crown Jewel 2024, where Goldberg used to earn $2 million for matches, because GUNTHER is already set to face Cody Rhodes.
The match is also not scheduled for WWE Survivor Series: WarGames 2024 or WrestleMania 41.
Although the card for WrestleMania 41 has not yet been finalized, WWE typically begins working on it in October.
