According to a report from Pwinsider, the rematches that once again took place on this week’s RAW were because the script was changing throughout the day. According to reports, the first hour wasn’t set in stone until 35–45 minutes before the show went live on the USA Network. This isn’t anything new as Vince McMahon often “rips up the script” just hours before RAW goes live each week and it creates chaos backstage as the talent have very limited time to memorize their promos or prepare for their matches. Often times, they have no idea what they’re doing on the show that night and don’t receive their scripts until several hours before the show goes live. And even then, changes are still being made so they have to adjust.
Despite not appearing on RAW, Alexa Bliss was backstage at the TV tapings.
As you’d expect, the WWE roster is said to be extremely excited about returning to live touring with fans in attendance. Many are hopeful that they will get merchandise royalty bumps due to the return of live events. Others are remaining cautious and hope the shows will be able to draw. There is said to be a lot of interest as it pertains to ticket sales when they go on sale this Wednesday.
