UPDATE: According to another update from the WrestleVotes Twitter account, the working plan is for Michael Cole to move over to SmackDown! Live and Vic Joseph will be moving to RAW as the lead announcer there. WWE views Michael Cole as their top announcer and they want him to be a part of the FOX debut.
Cole is currently the lead announcer on RAW, with Joseph calling 205 Live. Dio Maddin joined the WWE 205 Live announce team this week. Nigel McGuiness will remain exclusive to NXT. Of course, things could change but this is WWE’s thinking as of this writing.
The plans as of now for the new announce teams include Michael Cole heading to SmackDown on FOX. I’m also told Vic Joseph is set to become the lead man on Monday Night RAW. Not set in stone, as nothing is with WWE, but this is their working idea.

ORIGINAL: WrestleVotes is reporting that WWE is looking to make some ‘significant’ changes to their announce teams in the near future.
The changes are expected to kick in once SmackDown moves to FOX on October 4th.
“Hearing that significant changes are coming to the commentary teams once the SD to FOX move happens in a few weeks. All shows will be impacted, including RAW. A source has said the return of the 2 man booth is coming.”
