Brian Cage and Taz came out to cut a promo on Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite to further build towards a match with AEW World Champion Jon Moxley.
It was announced that the match between Moxley and Cage will happen at Fight for the Fallen on July 15 instead of next week’s show due to Moxley staying home for COVID-19 precautionary measures.
Taz said that Moxley had been tested multiple times and noted that AEW doesn’t ‘run a sloppy shop’. This was seen by some to be a shot at WWE.
According to Wrestling Observer Radio‘s Dave Meltzer, there were several people who were ‘very upset’ at what Taz had to say. WWE is now testing, having talent to wear masks, and taking proper social distancing measures.
