According to a report from the Wrestling Observer, The Miz was reportedly injured during his match with Damian Priest at WrestleMania Backlash. According to sources, The Miz suffered a knee injury during the Zombie Lumberjack match.
As of this writing, there is no word on how much, if any, in-ring time he will miss. It’s worth noting that he didn’t appear on this week’s RAW. Instead, Morrison faced Priest in a lumberjack match that featured legitimate lumberjacks, including Nikki Cross.
Following WrestleMania Backlash, The Miz took to Twitter and posted the following. Of course, he’s likely talking about the zombie attack and not the knee injury:
