Trench and AEW have reportedly parted ways.
For those unaware, Trench has been working as part of the Mogul Affiliates faction since its inception.
Pwinsider is reporting that Trench, real name Granden Goetzman, left the company at the beginning of this month. It is simply a case of Goetzman’s deal with AEW expiring and the company choosing not to renew it.
As many of you know, All Elite Wrestling rarely makes any announcements on departing talents. Additionally, Tony Khan chooses not to release his talents early and pays them until the end of their originally agreed upon contracts. Of course, there are exceptions as recently seen with BJ Whitmer, who was arrested for burglary and domestic violence.
Trench debuted in December 2022 as the “mystery man” who helped the Mogul Affiliates attack Keith Lee. He has since been removed from AEW’s roster page.
