It appears that WWE NXT 2.0 will be dropping the “TakeOver” name for their pay-per-view events going forward.
While WWE originally sent out a tweet on Tuesday night that referenced “NXT TakeOver: WarGames” as the name of their December 5th event, it has since been deleted and a new graphic has been posted that doesn’t mention “TakeOver”.
The word “TakeOver” is no longer part of the graphic that was originally posted. WWE has used the “TakeOver” name since May of 2014.
