According to a report in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, John Morrison aka Johnny IMPACT, and LAX are definitely looking for new home bases.
Johnny, who is now 39, had been with IMPACT Wrestling for a handful of years. Following his match against Rich Swann at Slammiversary, reports began to circulate Johnny, real name John Hennigan, was finished with IMPACT Wrestling.
Reportedly, Johnny does not have WWE or AEW in sight as his next move.
In regards to LAX, as has been reported, they have at least another month on their contract. However, unlike Johnny, they are looking at WWE and AEW as potential options.
In his report, Dave Meltzer sights AEW’s working relationship with AAA as a potential way to have Konnan stay with the LAX group. Dave also suggests that All Elite Wrestling may pay more for the duo than WWE/NXT would.
