This past Monday’s episode of RAW opened up with a nearly two-hour long Seven-Man Gauntlet match. It was an unusual call for a Monday Night RAW, many believed that it was a Triple H decision rather than a Vince McMahon call. According to a report from PWInsider, the Gauntlet match idea was actually Vince McMahon’s.
Vince reportedly had the idea out of nowhere and it really shocked some people backstage as he’s not typically too fond of those type of matches. Plans for the match were reportedly laid out to Vince and he approved the length and presentation of the event.
