On the latest episode of his To Be The Man podcast, two-time WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair shortlisted the potential inductees to the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2023.
According to Flair, Dave Bautista and The Midnight Express (Dennis Condrey, Bobby Eaton, Stan Lane and Jim Cornette) should be inducted into the 2023 WWE Hall of Fame. It is to be noted that Batista was originally meant to be inducted as part of the 2020 class but the COVID-19 pandemic derailed those plans, as “Big Dave” insisted that he wanted to give his speech in front of a live crowd. Flair said,
“I think it’s great. As soon as they get Dave in, then we can get Evolution in.”
Speaking of The Midnight Express, Flair said,
“God they were a great team, I mean really good. Jim you know would cut a great promo, it would be awesome. I’d love it.”
Jim Cornette previously addressed The Midnight Express being inducted into the Hall of Fame. Cornette highlighted the terrible timing, noting that Eaton has passed away and Condrey now functions with an artificial voice box. The legendary booker further stated that Stan Lane wouldn’t care about the induction and would be mad about leaving his house for the said purpose.
