Bron Breakker wrestled Seth Rollins for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship in a losing effort on last week’s NXT Gold Rush special.
Fightful Select has provided an update on the Rick Steiner and Gisele Shaw situation that took place earlier this year at WrestleCon and whether it affects Steiner’s son, Bron’s career in WWE.
At WrestleCon, Rick Steiner yelled derogatory and transphobic remarks at Gisele Shaw. This resulted in WrestleCon banning Steiner from participating in further events that weekend.
The latest report suggests that although the incident will not affect Bron’s status in NXT, it has reportedly destroyed any chance of Rick appearing in WWE again for the foreseeable future.
According to WWE sources, Breakker shall not be held responsible for his father’s actions.
It was further noted that Breakker has not shown any character issues since signing with the company in 2021.
