Major Change Set for ROH World Championship Match at G1 Supercard

At last night’s taping of Ring of Honor television, it was revealed that the Ring of Honor World Championship match at G1 Supercard in Madison Square Garden would now be a Triple Threat Ladder Match.

Jay Lethal will be defending against Matt Taven, whom he competed in a 60-minute draw against at the 17th-anniversary pay-per-view, and Marty Scurll, who had previously been announced as the number one contender for the show.

Also, At last night’s taping, Marty Scurll and Villain Enterprises dethroned The Kingdom as the ROH Six-Man Tag Team Champions.

G1 Supercard, of course, takes place during WrestleMania weekend on the night before WrestleMania 35.
