Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns is not scheduled to compete at next month’s Extreme Rules Premium Live Event.
Reigns retained his championship against Drew McIntyre at last weekend’s WWE Clash at the Castle event in Cardiff, Wales.
According to Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio, Reigns will miss Extreme Rules and his next title match will be overseas.
“He’s not on the show [Extreme Rules]. His next championship match is Saudi Arabia. I don’t know who against but I know it’s Saudi Arabia. He’s not on the Philly show.”
WWE Extreme Rules will take place on October 8, 2022, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
WWE’s next Saudi show will be Crown Jewel, set for November 5, 2022, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
