This past Friday night on WWE SmackDown, we saw newly crowned SmackDown Women’s Champion, “Rowdy” Ronda Rousey successfully defend her title in a match against Raquel Rodriguez. Rousey posted to Instagram on Sunday to thank Raquel for the match, praising her.
“Without a robust division, I am the champion of nothing. Thank you for the challenge @raquelwwe hope it’s not the last.”
WWE Superstar Natalya also added in the comments, “I so agree. We need ALL of our women to matter.”
