Sami Zayn is neither confirming nor denying that he will be headlining WrestleMania for the first time in his career this weekend.

While it is known that Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes will close out WrestleMania: Sunday, there has been no confirmation as to which match will headline the Saturday show.

When Ariel Helwani spoke to Zayn in Los Angeles, Sami remained coy when asked if he would be headlining tomorrow night. He said,

“That remains to be seen.”

Helwani added that Sami’s upcoming tag-team match with Kevin Owens against The Usos is the most anticipated WrestleMania tag match since WrestleMania 1, where Mr. T and Hulk Hogan defeated Roddy Piper and Paul Orndorff. Zayn responded,

“It is insane. If we do go on last, which remains to be seen, it would be the first time since WrestleMania 1. And it would be the first tag team title match of all time [to main event]. That’s something.”

It is believed that either this tag match or the SmackDown Women’s Championship match between Charlotte Flair and Rhea Ripley will headline WrestleMania: Saturday.
