The issues between Seth Rollins and Matt Riddle are officially a thing of the past according to the reigning WWE World Heavyweight Champion.
The problem between the two seemed to stem from comments made by Riddle’s wife at the time (Lisa) about the bodies of women in WWE, including Rollins’ wife Becky Lynch.
These real issues between Riddle and Rollins would bleed over onto WWE programming as part of their intense feud in late 2022.
On the “IMPAULSIVE” podcast, Rollins discussed speaking with Riddle and making amends with the former U.S. Champion. He said,
“We had a bit of a real-life beef, if you will, I had a bit of an issue with him, so you kind of got to see that play out on live television a little bit, so we worked it to our favor because now we have a moment that’s viral and something you remember that affected you so, win win win I would say.
“He apologized and we mended fences and I’m all about like, I don’t write anybody off, I’m not one of those guys that’s like ‘no second chances, you do wrong by me I hate you forever’, like I’m not that stubborn, it’s not that serious.”
Rollins would defeat Riddle at WWE Clash at the Castle last September while Riddle would defeat the Architect at Extreme Rules in a ‘Fight Pit’ match.
