During a Q&A at the Fandemic Tour in Houston, TX over the weekend, a fan asked Seth Rollins about a possible match with AEW’s Kenny Omega. Rollins responded by calling AEW the “minor leagues” and said that once Omega was done working there, he could come to WWE and they can have a match together. He said,
“When Kenny is done playing in the minor leagues over there, Kenny can come work in the absolute top professional wrestling company in the world in front of the most people, make the most money, and have the biggest matches, which is with me at WrestleMania.”
As many of you know by now, Omega said several weeks ago that WWE NXT wrestlers were nothing but “developmental talent” and said that AEW had the “real stars.”
