Could Adam Pearce be preparing to lace up his boots one final time? Rapper Smoke DZA certainly thinks so.
Prior to signing with WWE in 2014, Pearce competed for various promotions and is a five-time NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion.
During an appearance on the “Cheap Heat” podcast, rapper Sean “Smoke DZA” Pompey weighed in on Pearce possibly wrestling for WWE. He said,
“Are they working him to make a return? Yeah, it just looks like they’re working Adam Pearce to get a little Royal Rumble spot or something… He’s been way more active on the program. I mean, he was already active, but I think this was a little more physical with Adam Pearce. So, it’s kind of looking like they’re teasing towards something.”
Pompey also said that he’s interested in seeing where Pearce’s angle with Bobby Lashley is going after the WWE authority figure fired Lashley on this week’s RAW.
