As noted, Randy Orton returned at WWE Extreme Rules by attacking Jeff Hardy. As seen on this week’s episode of SmackDown Live in Wilkes Barre, PA at the Mohegan Sun Arena on the USA Network, Orton again attacked Hardy following his United States Title match against Shinsuke Nakamura by viciously beating him down.
According to cagesideseats.com, there is speculation that Hardy is expected to take some time off to deal with his various injury issues. We noted earlier on the site that Hardy has stopped doing the swanton bomb at live events due to issues with his back, has been dealing with a knee issue, as well as nerve issues.
