The Street Profits vs. The New Day vs. Alpha Academy vs. Los Lotharios, with the winners challenging The Usos at next month’s Extreme Rules pay-per-view event, is the only match to be announced for tonight’s WWE SmackDown.
Pwinsider reported today that “there’s been a pitch to change that match, placing Imperium and The Brawling Brutes in and pulling Alpha Academy and Los Lotharios out.”
It’s unclear whether WWE plans to go forward with these changes.
The report also noted that the early word is Bayley will be wrestling on the show after WWE added Damage CNTRL to creative plans.
