During a recent interview with TMZ Sports, WWE Hall of Famer “Stone Cold” Steve Austin lavished praise on Pat McAfee for his remarkable stint with WWE.
Austin previously interacted with McAfee at WrestleMania 38. The Texas Rattlesnake delivered a stunner to the former NFL punter after the latter wrestled back-to-back matches against Austin Theory and Vince McMahon.
According to Austin, McAfee could be a huge WWE Superstar. He said,
“Pat has a natural feel for the business. Epic performer. Great on the stick. Athletically, that match he had with [Austin] Theory was awesome. I think he’s amazing. He’s very entertaining. And, as a human being, I like him a whole lot.”
McAfee last appeared for WWE at WrestleMania 39 (Night One), beating The Miz in an impromptu match.
