The legendary career of Tammy “Sunny” Sytch could be coming to an end in the near future. The WWE Hall of Famer has indicated that she’s looking to part ways with the industry she has been a part of since 1992 and start a family.
She stated Friday on Facebook, “ok seriously……i wamt a ring on my finger and a husband……a decently looking one……bc i want a good looking kid.”
Many of her friends didn’t take her claims seriously. She wrote in response, “you all think im joking….im not. want to get out of the business, get married and get prggers.”
Sytch then wrote the following day, “OMG…i THINK IM ACTUALLY GETTING MARRIED!!!!”
Sytch said several weeks ago that she was healing slowly after she claimed she fell down an escalator last month at Newark Liberty Airport, which resulted in a broken nose and cuts to her forehead, wrist and foot. The WWE Hall of Famer stated several weeks ago on Facebook that she has been suffering from dizziness not to mention that she acquired a viral infection due to not being given antibiotics while hospitalized. She was sedated to have her teeth fixed and then said she broke her nose again, albeit due to clumsiness. That’s interesting to say the least considering what we have reported here on eWrestlingNews.com in recent months.
We reported several months ago here on the website that Sytch was advertised to appear at a Legends of the Ring event at the Crowne Plaza in Monroe, New Jersey, but no-showed. That marked the second consecutive weekend where she missed scheduled bookings after arriving to them.
She was spotted highly intoxicated at the hotel’s sports bar the night before and needed assistance returning to her room since she was unable to walk on her own. She spent the rest of the weekend in her hotel room before returning home.
Sytch wrote of her whereabouts on Facebook, “sorry i havent posted…..been very sick…..”
Sytch also appeared in no condition to perform at Northeast Wrestling’s Brass City Brawl II event on September 30 in Waterbury, Connecticut and was scratched from the show as a result. According to a source, a referee drove her back to her hotel and she wouldn’t leave her room the following day. She was then escorted off the premises by law enforcement. She missed a show she booked to appear on that day in Poughkeepsie, New York.
Sytch wrote “detoxing is not fun” two days later on her Facebook account. She then revealed that she’s depressed.
“I want to thank everyone who stood behind me and sent well wishes during this hard time,” she wrote. “Im sorry I havent responded sooner, but depression can be a b—h….dont feel like doing much at all…”
Her recent troubles are apparently related to problems with her boyfriend (New Jersey police officer) of over five years, who she broke up with a week earlier. She trashed her longtime partner on September 22 on Facebook and claimed that he cheated on her. Three days later, she wrote, “ok, seriously dont know what to do….need a sugar daddy asap….any takers??” She announced the following day that she was in a relationship with Brad Zapenas, a 21-year-old minor league baseball player for the Chicago Cubs. The relationship, however, would be short-lived as they broke up several weeks later.
Sytch faced a similar set of problems earlier this year as she appeared intoxicated at a Florida independent wrestling show on February 25. She slurred her words during a verbal confrontation with Danny Demanto and suffered multiple wardrobe malfunctions—she purposely flashed her breasts during a match to onlookers and her top accidentally came loose when she attempted to interfere.
She stated days later on Facebook that her behavior was related to personal problems at home, writing: “To everyone: let me explain why Ive been so upset lately. I have made the biggest mistake of my life, and have hurt the only person who ever cared about me and stood behind me thru my worst times. Now I have to deal with the pain b/c of my own mistake.”
In the years prior to her “comeback,” the former Diva appeared intoxicated at a multitude of independent wrestling events. Her unconventional behavior would intensify in the months following the April 2005 death of longtime partner Chris Candido: she officiated at least two matches while intoxicated and was escorted from a wrestling convention after causing a scene near Bret Hart. Her wily antics, however, simmered after she entered a relationship with a police official in January 2006 (who she broke up with last month) and shortly thereafter began her road to recovery, which culminated with enshrinement into WWE’s Hall of Fame last April.
It should also be noted that New Jack stated several weeks on Facebook that former Sytch asked him to kill her former boyfriend, a New Jersey police officer who she broke up with in August. According to Jack, a former bounty hunter, the WWE Hall of Famer says that he physically abused her during their five year relationship. She made similar claims on Facebook last month.
Jack wrote, “Have these b-tches lost there f-cking minds or what? Tammy Sytch from wwe called me this past weekend asked me would I kill her ex boyfriend who is a cop in jersey, because he has abused her and beat the sh-t outta her for the past 5yrs.
“I’m sure y’all are finding this hard to believe, just like the other, but please believe it!I have a signing and a show in jersey this weekend and i will be staying at a hotel in jersey for two days, but believe this when I say it…I’M NOT COMING TO JERSEY TO TRY AND KILL A GUY(COP)FOR TAMMY OR NOBODY ELSE…WTF!!!
“TAMMY,HERE IS A LITTLE WORD OF ADVICE…DO UR OWN GOTDAMN DIRTY WORK YOU CRAZY B-TCH!!!PLEASE FORWARD THIS TO HER AND BY THE WAY,THE COPS NAME IS JOHN…CRAZY F-CKING B-TCH!!!”
Sytch denied his claims on Facebook.
“nj is a wacko.. never ased him to kill my my ex,” she wrote.
