A new championship is coming to All Elite Wrestling.
As advertised, Tony Schiavone made a big announcement per Tony Khan on this week’s two-year anniversary edition of AEW Dynamite on TNT.
The longtime commentator announced during an in-ring segment along with his AEW Unrestricted co-host and women’s AEW referee Aubrey Edwards that a new title was coming to the promotion.
He would then announce that when AEW Dynamite moves to TBS on January 5, 2022, a new TBS Women’s Championship title will be introduced.
