The ‘Million Dollar Man’ Ted DiBiase Sr. has praised the in-ring work of Ricky Steamboat and has compared wrestling ‘The Dragon’ to a heavenly experience.
On a recent edition of his “Everybody’s Got A Pod” podcast, DiBiase Sr. spoke about working with his fellow WWE Hall of Famer. He said,
“I only had one match with Ricky Steamboat and brother, we tore it down. And you talk about a guy, I mean, for me, it was like being in heaven… I wrestled him one time and loved it.”
The pair’s one match would come as part of the untelevised 1991 King of the Ring tournament and their match would end in a time-limit draw.
Bret Hart would win the tournament, as well as the first televised King of the Ring tournament in 1993, making the Hitman the only two-time winner of the crown.
