Ted DiBiase Sr. and Virgil may have worked on-screen as allies for years, but the Million Dollar Man doesn’t want to see his manservant join him in the WWE Hall of Fame.

DiBiase Sr. was inducted in 2010 and during a recent edition of his “Everybody’s Got A Pod” podcast, was asked if Virgil should also receive the honor of induction. He said,

“No. Virgil — he was a valet. Period. He never wrestled. The only wrestling match he may have had was with me and that was short-lived because, honestly, he’s a nice enough guy. He’s just not that wrestling savvy. There’s just no other way to put it.

“If he had any real wrestling ability, I mean in terms of understanding what we do … we could’ve had a really good program, but he just doesn’t have it.”

While Virgil wrestled more matches than DiBiase Sr. recalled, he never held any gold other than the Million Dollar Championship he bested his former boss for.

In more recent years, the pair had a falling out as Virgil would often claim he would be appearing at conventions and indie events alongside DiBiase Sr. in order to get bookings.

DiBiase Sr. would ultimately have to put out a statement, clarifying that Virgil does not represent him when taking bookings to avoid appearing that he had no-showed.
