WWE Hall of Famer Teddy Long revealed what he said to the Honorary Uce Sami Zayn at this past Monday’s WWE RAW TV tapings. Long appeared on the “RAW XXX” anniversary show to book a tag team match.
While speaking to Sportskeeda’s WrestleBinge podcast, Long opened up about chatting with Zayn. He said,
“I pulled Sami to the side, and I told him, ‘Brother, you got it. You got it.’ I said I ain’t blowing smoke up your a**; I don’t do this. If I’m pulling you aside and telling you something, it’s because I see it. And I said the same thing you did. I said I don’t see that character in you. I see Sami Zayn. You’re just real, and that makes it all the more better when you’re real. I told him those words last night, and Sami is going to be the next big superstar.”
Sami Zayn is a fan favorite to win this year’s men’s Royal Rumble match.
