WWE released Jeff Hardy on Thursday after he was sent home over the weekend after he looked sluggish and left through the crowd during a match at a live event. Hardy reportedly declined WWE’s offer to get help and go to rehab.
Andrew Zarian reported on today’s Mat Men Pro Wrestling podcast that things were rough for Hardy over the last couple of weeks.
“What I was told is that he’s been really good,” Zarian said. “He does occasionally drink but the last couple of weeks has been rough for him. Those are the words, more or less. I hope he gets better.”
