Hangman Page kicked off this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite with a promo in the ring after his loss to Jay White at WrestleDream 2024.
During his promo, Page threw jabs at Austin Gunn and Juice Robinson, resulting in Colten Gunn attacking him from behind.
White and Robinson also joined the brawl. After the former AEW World Champion limped away, White delivered a promo stating that he had Page’s number and advised him to ice his leg, indicating they would face off again soon.
Fans speculated whether Page was genuinely injured or just acting in this segment.
During the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, it was confirmed that Page is perfectly fine and not injured.
Bryan Alvarez said, “During the brawl, Hangman started limping, and he actually wasn’t limping until the brawl.”
Dave Meltzer noted, “When he came out, he was walking gingerly, but he was limping bad at the end.”
Alvarez added, “He was selling. He got me and apparently a lot of people with that one, but that was selling the Seattle match. So apparently, he’s fine.”
