On Friday, it was reported that WWE had made some backup plans in the event there was a weather delay during tonight’s SummerSlam 2022 pay-per-view event at Nissan Stadium in Nashville, TN. The company had set up a panel backstage where talents would participate in a similar way to what is often done on the Kickoff shows.
There had been reports all week long that thunderstorms were possible later tonight. In an update on this, there is now only a 20 percent chance of rain. If the city does see any t-storms, they aren’t expected to take place until after 2:00 AM local time, which will be well after the pay-per-view event has concluded.
