During Monday night’s RAW broadcast, a new leader of RETRIBUTION was revealed in Mustafa Ali. During a match between Ali and MVP, RETRIBUTION came down to the ring as Ali looked to form an alliance with The Hurt Business. When he was able to escape to the outside of the ring where T-BAR, MACE, SLAPJACK, and others were, he aligned himself with them instead and instructed the group to attack The Hurt Business.
The announcers then hyped that Ali has been behind the group this entire time as he posed with the RETRIBUTION members.
For what it’s worth, Ali was planned to be revealed as the person behind the SmackDown hacker gimmick before it was eventually dropped back in May. Of course, WWE can now bring that storyline back up if they choose to do so.
